We conducted a comparative test on two solutions: IDC and cloud service. The conclusions are as follows:
AWS’s services have great advantages in terms of service flexibility, security protection, and global coverage, allowing us to easily redeploy servers in spare areas. Considering the good scalability of cloud server, TRON Galaxy will initially use the Amazon AWS service to run the node. After the mainnet launch in June 2018, we will flexibly expand according to TRON’s online environment to respond to the rapid demand changes of DAPP. TRON GALAXY team members have many years of high concurrency, large user data service related experience, and can support the operation and maintenance management of billions of requests in the future.
Early stage
Considering that the Tokyo server is the most scalable, we plan to establish a server node at AWS Tokyo, with subsequent nodes in Seoul and Singapore respectively. These servers will use AWS-specific optimization schemes (such as ELB, Shield, WAF, etc.) to support powerful performance and security.

Our architecture is a system optimal design framework based on AWS, providing the highest levels of performance and security protection and highly elastic scalability. Each area is separated into two usable areas, which do not affect each other. If any node fails, ELB can automatically switch the request to the standby node to continue serving, thus it can provide excellent response services.
