June will be a crucial month for TRON. After the mainnet token migration is complete on June 21, 2018, TRON will shed its identity as an ERC20 token and become one of the most competitive mainstream public blockchains in the world.

Perhaps an even more significant moment for TRON will be June 26, 2018, when we will hold the first TRON Super Representative Election. 27 Super Representatives will be selected to represent over one million TRON supporters and provide calculation and validation for the network. As elected guardians of the TRON network, they represent the will of the people and will play a crucial role in TRON’s future governance structure.

The June 26th Super Representative Election will also mark the conclusion of the Exodus phase, spearheaded by the TRON Foundation. We are 6 months ahead of our original schedule and will follow Exodus with Odyssey, where the TRON Foundation and the TRON community will join together to govern the network.

The TRON Protocol network will generate one block per second, with each block awarding 32 TRX to Super Representatives. A total of 1,009,152,000 TRX will be awarded annually to twenty-seven Super Representatives. There will be no inflation on the TRON network before January 1, 2021, and the TRON Foundation will award all block rewards prior to that date.

I have always believed deeply in the values of sovereignty of the people, and natural rights of the people. In the cryptocurrency world, we’re talking about the sovereignty of the token; the natural rights of the token! Each token is of vital importance, as they are the keys to decentralizing network power.

Unfortunately, Bitcoin and Ethereum have not upheld these values. In their systems, miners, founders, and developer teams hold much of the power. Token holders do not have any governance rights. This is an oligarchic system controlled by a select few, where there is no legitimacy in the true sense of the word.

The TRON Protocol has grown in the past seven months, with more than one million supporters from one hundred countries. It is high time for us to rise up against these unfair governance systems. The revolution will begin with TRON, as we become a new decentralized protocol with a democratic, self-governing community, free elections, and overarching legitimacy.

In order to ensure the fairness, equality, and transparency of the election, I guarantee that the 34,251,888,355 TRX locked in the TRON Foundation will be kept completely separate from the voting process for the Super Representative Election. I myself will participate in the TRON Super Representative Election along with all other candidates, subject to the voting outcome rendered by the 65,748,111,645 TRX in the community.

I would like to call on each and every TRON supporter to contribute to the TRON Protocol by participating in the election or running to become a Super Representative, while recognizing the choice represented by each TRX vote. It is my sincere wish that each TRX holder will cherish and exercise their rights by voting.

Every TRX counts.
