Freeze

On Tron Network we can freeze TRX to get bandwidth (enables transfers without costs) and to get energy (enables smart contracts transactions without costs). Both operations give you Tron Power (used to vote for the network super representatives)

  1. To freeze, click on the “Freeze” icon located in the account card.
  2. Select “Bandwidth” or “Energy”
  3. Enter the TRX amount you would like to freeze.

On Tron Network, you can also freeze your assets and delegate the “Bandwidth”/”Energy” to another address. To enable this option, when freezing, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on “Freeze to another address”
  2. Insert the address you want to delegate to in the “To” field
  3. Click “Freeze”

Vote

Each frozen TRX is equivalent to one Tron Power (amount of votes). Tron has a DPoS consensus, where 27 elected Super Representatives (SR) are responsible for validating transactions and making blocks, securing the network. This is why SR voting is an essential process of the Tron Network. Do your own research and vote for your favorite SR. TronWalletMe and CryptoChain are two Elected Tron SR working together to make this wallet possible.

  1. Click on the “Votes” icon located in the account card.
  2. Click on the SR Representative you would like to vote.
  3. Enter the amount of votes you would like to set for this representative.
  4. Click “SET VOTE”
  5. If you would like to vote for more than one representative, repeat steps 2 to 4.
  6. When done, click “Submit vote”
