How did three couples plan to celebrate the New Year in paradise turn into a double murder?

The MacPherson Pomeroy’s Move to Paradise

In July 2018, Casey (37), and wife Barbara (62) MacPherson Pomeroy, moved to the Caribbean Island of Anguilla. Casey had enrolled in the islands St. James School of Medicine after deciding on a career change.

Casey had previously been in pharmaceutical sales and acting. Most notably, he had a role as a police officer in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.

Casey’s, Debanee MacPherson Pomeroy-Udall, described her brother as, “He lit up the room when he walked in. He was always in a good mood and looking for a fun time.”

Between Christmas and New Year, Casey would be on winter break from school, so he invited a couple of friends and their wives to join him and Barbara in paradise.
