Previously, Warinthorn Chaiyachet 22, had filed a crime report with the Thai Royal Police. She said several suspects had sexually assaulted her.

When the police tried to get in contact with Warinthorn to follow up, she seemed to have disappeared. They found out that her family had reported her missing soon after she made the report.

Looking into her whereabouts, a police informant came forward with information. The informant claimed that her boyfriend, Apichai Ongwisit, had killed Warinthorn.

With the informant’s statement, the police were able to get a search warrant for Apichai Ongwisit’s estate in Bang Khae.

Where they quickly located the body of Warinthorn. She had been buried underneath a metal gate and steel box. Her remains were found wrapped inside of a black plastic bag. The police were able to identify her by a back tattoo initially.
