Before He Became the Coast to Coast Killer

Tommy Lynn Sells was born on June 28, 1964, in Oakland, California, with a twin sister named Tammy Jean.

When the twins, Tommy and Tammy, were only 18 months old, they contracted meningitis, and Tammy died. After the death of his twin, Tommy was sent to live with his aunt in Holcomb, Missouri. He lived with her for over three years before she attempted to adopt him. The adoption angered Sells mother, who demanded to have Tommy back at the age of 5.

****Like serial killers Donato Bilancia, and Dr. Thomas Neill Cream, Sells whole life changed at the age of 5.

Being forced back with his mother across the country, five-year-old Sells would soon fall victim to his mother’s devious tendencies.

By the time he was eight, his mother was openly giving her son sexually to Willis Clark, a child molester on the registry. Sells says he relived this abuse over and over as he killed his victims.

In a turn of events at the age of 13, Sells attacked his mother. He tried to pin her down and rape her. She fought him off. When he returned home from school the next…
