When uncontrolled road rage leads to murder, and the killer has no plans of letting justice be served, you have the story of Adam Emery.

August 30, 1990, around 9 pm

Adam Emery and his wife Elana, along with another couple, had just picked up food in Warwick, Rhode Island. As they got into the car and were getting ready to leave, another car sideswiped them and didn’t stop.

Adam was angered and sped after the other vehicle. Elena pointed out a Ford LTD and said that was the car that had hit them. Adam accelerated to catch up to the vehicle.

The Ford LTD was being driven by Jason Bass 22, along with two other passengers.

Having caught up to the Ford, Adam yelled at Jason that he damaged his car, and he insisted that Jason pull over.

Jason had no idea what the other driver was yelling about and felt threatened by the driver’s demeanor kept driving.

Adam sped up and cut Jason off, forcing the Ford to stop in the road. Adam started to get out of the car to confront the other driver when his wife Elena handed him a military-style knife.

In the Ford Jason and his passengers were confused about what was going on. They felt nervous, and Jason again tried to get away from the other car and…
