A young girl feared she would die young, then fell victim to a Serial Killer.

Kathy Hobbs had a premonition at a young age that she wasn’t going to live to the age of 16. Her family tried to do everything they could to dispel this belief but nothing helped.

She isolated her self in her room and refused to leave the house. Then on the morning of her sixteenth birthday, she breathed a sigh of relief, she was still alive.

After this she started living a more normal teenage life. She spent time out of the house with friends, she started wearing makeup, and developed an interest in beauty products. She started to plan on pursuing a career in the beauty industry someday.

On the night of July 23, 1987 she was in her room reading a book. When she finished it around 11pm but still wasn’t tired. She told her mother she was going to walk to the store and purchase another. The store was only a few blocks away from her house, and she walked to it all the time.

That night when Kathy went out, she didn’t run into any friends in the apartment complex, like she sometimes did. So she walked by herself to the store.
