Child Abducted From Hospital After Tornado
Joan Gay Croft has been missing since the 1947 tornado in Oklahoma.
Joan Gay Croft belonged to one of the most prominent families in Woodward, Oklahoma. Her father, Hutchinson Olin Croft, was a sheep rancher and her mother, Cleta Mae (neé Goble), a telephone operator. 4-year-old Joan also lived with her 12-year-old half-sister, Geraldine. Geri was Cleta’s daughter from a previous marriage.
