Man Vanishes After Receiving Text Message Threatening His Grandmother
LePerry Williams Jr. told his father that people were mad at him and he needed to get his grandmother out of Houston, Texas.
In November 2019, LePerry Dushawn Williams Jr. frantically called his father, LePerry Williams Sr., and told him he needed to get his elderly mother out of Houston, Texas.
LePerry Sr. was so concerned that he left work and drove three hours to speak to his 28-year-old son, who had been living with his grandmother near Ridge Creek Drive and South Post Oak Road in Fort Bend County.
When he got there, LePerry Jr. showed him a text message he had received from an unknown number. There was no text, just a picture of his grandmother’s house.
He told his father there were people upset with him but wouldn’t elaborate on who or why. LePerry Sr. got frustrated with the lack of answers and told him he couldn’t continue staying with his grandmother.
They had a heated argument that ended in LePerry Jr. walking out of his grandmother’s house. The two texted each other after the dispute until LePerry Jr. said his phone was dying and he needed to find a charger. That was the last time any of his loved ones heard from him.
