Gypsy Rose Blames Nick Godejohn for Murder, Calls Him ‘Creepy & Sick’
Gypsy Rose Blanchard appeared on the news television show 20/20 on Friday, January 26. She talked about her crime, serving eight years in prison, and Nicholas Godejohn, the man serving a life sentence with no parole for killing her mother, DeeDee Blanchard, in 2015.
The Holywood Reporter posted that when Gypsy was asked about her feelings about Nick, she blamed him. She said that she has “pity” for him because he still has no regret for killing her mother. She said that it “creeps her out” that someone could do something this “sick” without any remorse.
In Nick’s police interrogation video, he told the detective he felt awful about the murder. He expressed deep regret. However, he said he loved Gypsy and believed that she was in danger.
TikTok user Nina Beauty Influencer says Gypsy said in an interview that if Nick was a “real man,” he would have reported the abuse instead of plotting to kill her mother with her. Nick DID try to talk her out of it. He repeatedly tried to get her to run away with him and disappear in the night. Every time he would suggest not killing her mother, she would threaten to break up with him.
