Attempted murder-suicide in Plantation, FL
Mother and child dead, father unconscious
A mother and her child were found dead inside a home in Plantation on Tuesday, while the father was found unconscious due to an overdose after an attempted murder-suicide, police said.
The father is the suspect in the double murder. Police said the victims died by “traumatic means,” WSVN reported.
Neighbors and police were emotional as officers combed the scene.
One neighbor said a family of four lives at the home: a mother, father, a 3-month-old, and a 2-year-old boy. He saw medics taking the father to the hospital, but he did not see the mother or the 2-year-old.
“I saw the 3-month-old baby with the grandparents, that’s all I’ve seen,” the neighbor said.
