Now, i will show you a way to run Hanami apps in Cloud9 with some steps:
1. Preparing the envirroment
Firts, in your dashboard, click in “Create a new workspace”:
Fill the fields with your needs, select “Ruby” in “choose a template” section and submit the form.
This will create a new workspace with a pre-installed Ruby on Rails app.
Delete all files and folder.
In the terminal, install Hanami gem:
$ gem install hanami
After, create a new project:
$ hanami new .
The dot at the end of command create a new project in the current folder.
Run bundle install, to install all gem dependency:
$ bundle install
Run Hanami in C9 is quite simple, open the terminal and type:
$ hanami server — port=$PORT — host=$IP
This command will run Hanami server with the C9 default port and ip.
You can get more information about Hanami server command typing:
$ hanami help server
Accessing your workspace URL you will see:
