The Afterlife No One Tells You About
A Story of Life After Death
Have you ever wondered what happens when we die? I mean, what do we really know about it? We know that brain waves cease, and flesh decays. We know that the living hold various rituals to mourn and honor their dead. But what do we actually know about what happens to the dead? Some would have you believe in an afterlife that maintains the balance between good and evil — Heaven and Hell. Some tell you that we are reincarnated, that the light at the end of the tunnel is the birth canal of your next life. There are lots of ghost stories, lots of beliefs and religions that make promises — but no one really knows, do they?
Unfortunately, I do. I know all too well what happens when we die — though I’m not sure what good my telling you will do. Hell, I doubt you’ll even believe me. Honestly, I wouldn’t believe me. When I was alive, this end never crossed my mind — and I can’t say it’s the same for everyone. I have no answers as to why or how I ended up here, like this… Maybe you can make sense of it.
I was, for all intents and purposes, a normal person. Full-time job, house plants, car payment, dog — not much family to speak…
