If you clicked to read this article, here’s how you probably feel about your romantic relationship.

One day, you’re all over them, happy and thinking this is the best person for you. You delight in a deep conversation, a fun outing, and feel generally blessed for having them in your life.

Then, the next day, something shifts. All of a sudden, you start perceiving enormous flaws in your partner. You question whether this is the “right” person for you. Maybe you’re making the biggest mistake of your life by staying with them?

Yet, your doubts are not strong enough to break up. After all, there are also all those good moments… But how do you know what’s “real:” the butterflies in your stomach and romance — or, the doubts and flaws?

It’s natural to have some questions and doubts about your choice of partner. Most people go through it at some stage of their relationship.

But if those questions and doubts are sucking your energy, making you feel constantly guilty, and seriously impact other areas of your life — these may be signs of Relationship OCD.
