Near the presidential palace, you’ll find a unique little restaurant that’s as niche as they come: raw, plant-based cuisine. It’s called Bemba, and here’s the story behind it.
Fifteen years ago, Robo Horvath was working as a chef in various restaurants in Ireland. At that time, he was “just a normal chef,” working with all kinds of foods, including meat and dairy. Then, he developed serious health issues, which led him to reconsider his dietary choices. After switching to a plant-based diet, his body underwent what he describes as a miraculous healing. This experience drove him to advocate for change, using his culinary skills to influence others — one plate at a time.
