President Donald Trump took to Twitter Monday morning to share his thoughts on media outlets and their polls.

“Any negative polls are fake news, just like the CNN, ABC, NBC polls in the election. Sorry, people want border security and extreme vetting,” tweeted President Trump. He followed this with a series of tweets accusing the New York Times of being total fiction writers.

In the midst of his rant, UK Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow announced that Trump will not be allowed to speak to Parliament while on his visit in the UK.

This final decision came after Trumps muslim ban. “After the imposition of the migrant ban by President Trump, I am even more strongly opposed to an address by President Trump in Westminster Hall,” said Bercow. “I feel very strongly that our opposition to racism and sexism and our support for equality before the law and an independent judiciary are hugely important considerations in the House of Commons.”

Although the Speaker cannot control the invitation Prime Minister Theresa May gave to Trump to visit the UK, he did say he can control if he speaks. “It is not an automatic right, it is an earned honor,” said Bercow.

During these statements, the Speaker received cheers and an applause from the MP’s in the room.

Along with Bercow, many lawmakers and UK citizens have voted and signed petitions to keep Trump from addressing Parliament and visiting the UK all together.

Trump has not made a comment on Bercow’s decision, but it is expected to take to Twitter soon.
