Latest development in Trump admin: U.S National Security Adviser Michael Flynn Resigns. This comes after the weekend, when claims about Flynn from the Russian dossier were finally corroborated regarding his communication with a Russian ambassador prior to Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan 20. This is a huge blow to Flynns credibility; he lied to Vice President, Mike Pence, about the conversation and mislead him to share incorrect information. As of now, possible replacements for this now open position are: Keith Kellogg, David Petraeus and Bob Harward.

The weekends are always time to wind down, especially for America’s first family. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner relaxed for 24-hours while observing Shabbat, Friday night through Saturday night. Mr. President Trump and First Lady, Melania, spent the weekend at their Mar-a-Lago estate with Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, and his wife.

However, south of the border, things weren’t as quiet. After the first woman was deported back to Mexico from Arizona under the Trump Administration late last week, over 20,000 people gathered in Mexico City to protest the United States’ new president. CNN reported, that the protests had an over-arching feel of standing for equality and against government corruption and racism.
