Week 7: Assignment / Assumption Map

This week, we were tasked with performing a braindump of the assumptions we have about our problem space, and then organizing them into categories. I realized I have a lot of assumptions about “society” but that I haven’t been very specific about what I mean by that in the context of menopause. I’m also realizing that I have a lot of assumptions about the menopause experience based on my own experiences with my menstrual cycle and what I’ve heard about it from my mother and women in my extended family. In class today, we’ll be exploring all of these assumptions further and what to do with them. To be continued!
