“What questions do you have on what it takes to be a media literate citizen?”

That was the question posed by public radio station WPLN ahead of the April 27 meeting of the Knight Commission on Trust, Media and Democracy in Nashville. WPLN gathered the results with the help of Hearken, a company that helps media organizations engage with audiences.

Commissioners were given the full list of the questions in the meeting while in private session. Below are questions from listeners who gave permission to share them publicly. Please consider adding your own questions in the comment section, and we will keep commissioners posted.

How do we compel ourselves and others to look outside our personal comfort media zones?
