Product Update — Easier Management of Your Analyses

We are excited to announce new features that will allow you to manage your analysis and get more value from the visualization capabilities of TruSTAR toolkit. With this latest update you can now Save a visualization and Share it with your collaborators. We have also made updates to the interface to make navigation more intuitive.

Interface Updates

When you login to the Station you will notice it looks a little different. We have updated the UI to make it easier to navigate between report details and its corresponding visualization.

When you click on a report you will now immediately see the correlation visualization — the report details will still be visible on the right. You can minimize the reports list by clicking on the “Reports” tab. You can minimize the details panel by clicking on the “Details” tab. All the other features like chat, tags, export and notifications are still accessible through the Details panel.

Save Analysis

This is just what it sounds like — any visualization can now be saved for later. You may want to save an analysis of targeted or trending incidents, or a specific analysis that you have created by expanding or deleting nodes. With this feature you can save the analysis or even share with your colleagues (more on the sharing feature below).

To save an analysis click on the “Save” button and select a name for your analysis.

All your saved analysis, and those shared with you, can be viewed by clicking on the “Analysis” tab. By default you will see all the analyses that you have saved. You can click on “Shared With Me” tab to view all the one’s shared with you.

When you click on any of the saved or shared analysis you will immediately see the visualization and you can continue working on that specific analysis. You can continue making updates and saving them.

Share Analysis

We realize that being able to share your work is an integral part of collaboration. With this feature now you can share your analysis with another TruSTAR user who belongs to your company. When you share your analysis it will create a copy for the recipient. Your collaborators will be notified through email and in-app notification of a shared analysis waiting for them.

To start sharing, first select the analysis of interest. Then click on Share button and you can put the email address of the recipient. Currently you can only share with other members of your company. You can also copy the link and email it to your collaborators or even paste in the chat window. Please remember only members of your company can view the shared analysis.
