My name is Lukas, I’m the founder of “EOS Gift Card” (and developer for eosDAC.io). I used this approach, to introduce some of my co-workers to the EOS blockchain with great success, so I thought it might be useful to other people. Thus I created the EOS Gift Card web application, which streamlines the whole process of setting up an EOS account (incl. CPU/NET/RAM) and creating a “getting started” PDF document, with just the click of a button!
About
EOS Gift Card is a service, which allows you to easily create a new EOS account for a friend, co-worker or family member. The accounts are fully pre-configured with CPU, NET and RAM (self-staked). You can choose between 3 different account sizes, depending on your needs. After choosing a custom name and size, you will have to sign an EOS transaction via Scatter, which will create the account for you via a smart contract in real time. After successful payment, you can download a PDF file, containing the active and owner keys, recommended wallets and popular dApps, to get your friend started without further explanations!
The PDF generated by EOS Gift Card makes a perfect gift or birthday present for a friend, who likes to explore the blockchain! And it takes only a couple of seconds to purchase this document. So if you have a friend, who is interested in EOS, or blockchain in general, do him the favour of creating an EOS account for him, so he can explore the the endless possibilities of the blockchain ecosystem.
