Hello wonderful people of TRYBE and beyond. Hope you are all doing fine since last we had the pleasure — and for all you new users out there, thanks for joining us and welcome to TRYBE!!

As hopefully you have come to know, TRYBE.ONE was born out of crypto and digital assets. With that in mind, it is the intent of TRYBE to remain blockchain agnostic in some sense and have some of our great contributors continue to inform the community about other technologies out there. In addition, I think that we can all agree that the more we as a community can contribute to the mission of TRYBE in creating top notch incredible original content, the more reach the community will have and the bigger we will grow; which lets face it, is a benefit to us all in the long run.

In this fashion, one of the things that TRYBE has become quite well known for as of late is the great content that our community members have been dedicated to produce for our ongoing content competitions. So without further delay, lets jump on in so where ever you are you may begin.

Loving crypto like you know we do — and by we we’re including you, because let’s face it, we know you do too — we have witnessed a lot of great projects and change in the space over the last little while. For this contest then, what we would like you to do is give a brief introduction, rundown, and overview of your favorite Top 10 dApps in the crypto space as a whole. Although we love EOS, we are not maximalists here, so should some of our favorites happen to reside on the Ethereum, TRON, NEO, or even some chain you think we have never heard of or payed attention to before, when it comes to inclusion in your list, please do!

Essentially then, that is it — the rest is up to you. In the spirit of creative content creation then pretty much anything goes, so long as the final submission includes your top 10 crypto dApps in whatever media or form you wish to present it to us. Of course general posts are welcome, but don’t be afraid to experiment, as here at TRYBE.ONE variety is always welcome. So for example, should you wish to do something more creative the general run of the mill ‘Late Night Top 10’ countdown, video content or a mini series outlining these favorite dApps of yours would be more than acceptable. In terms of content and style nothing is out of bounds, as we know how much talent is out there and really want to hear as best you choose to teach and enlighten us from you!

*The submission deadline for this contest will be the 15th of May, meaning that your post must be submitted and approved with a time stamp of May 15th to be considered in the prize pool. Please be cautious of this, because even if you decide at the last minute to edit the post and it happens not to be on the platform at the time we collect the submissions for review, it’s likely that these posts will be disqualified.

*When submitting the post, please be sure to submit it into the ‘content competitions’ category and add the tags ‘Top 10 Best Crypto dApps’ and ‘Trybe Content Competitions’ into the tag section. Also, please note that in this instance only, because of the nature of these entries, should you choose to create a video for your entry the categories should include both ‘Trybe TV’ and ‘content competitions’. In the case of a mini-series please title the series appropriately with something echoing Top 10 Best Crypto dApps in the series title. If you are unsure how to do this, please check out the post link in the paragraph below for general instructions.

*In terms of content, please be aware that TRYBE considers any content copied that has not been clearly sourced an act of theft, and we treat these acquisitions very seriously. Please to the best of your ability properly source all images and cite all quotes in order to give credit where credit is due. Just think about how you would feel if someone won a prize with your work and did not properly give credit. In addition, if you are unclear about what content needs to be cited and how it is best done to avoid being flagged for plagiarism or worse, having your account sent into review for nefarious behavior, please do check out Jimmy D’s Trybal Posting Tips for a breakdown.

So there you have it good ladies and gentlemen of Trybe and beyond. Although, before you go I will leave you with one confession to do with what you may.

You see, it’s been pretty much more than a day since I began this post. To be completely honest as to why, all I can really say is I fell down the rabbit hole and it took this long for me to resurface. Although the why may be a given, the how in this case is much more relevant. In the most simplistic possible way then, here is a short tale to ensure you don’t fail.

Just try searching for photos of dApps. Then, should you have the time, play around with the search terms by trying multiple combinations denoting key words like crypto, blockchain, decentralized, killer, and whatever else that wonderful brain of yours can come up with. You see, even I myself get lost at times in the world and projects that I live amidst. Whether those be good choices or bad, real or fancy-full, studied or stumbled upon, this crypto sphere we presently reside within is more massive than the majority of us can even fathom — and to top it off and really put things into perspective, it is us that are the probable less than 1%. So given that and at this moment to be completely frank, I am in complete and utter awe of what I have both forgot to remember and newly found when it comes to the potential of up and coming dApps in the space — so much so that I may just have to submit an entry to this contest myself. That said, please don’t worry yourselves about that too much as I will be bowing out of the prize collection pool, but should I be able to find the time I assure you that this is a post that I really want to write.

At first I was wondering if maybe 10 was a few too many, but in the end came to the realization after stumbling upon projects within blockchains I forgot even existed, one thing that could be said about the bear with seemingly endless projects having their head down building, narrowing it down to only 10 is going to be no small feat. To that end I can honestly say we live in exciting times my friends — and even though I will decline the pay, I’m pretty sure this is a contest at least in part in which I want to play. So take from that what you may, and hopefully yourselves as well as I will make it through to the finish line on time!

On behalf of the Trybe team from us to you, wishing you the best in all that you do, your trybalist in creative arms, Jimmy D
