All I remember is the feeling that I’ve lost something that may have been important — an article I really wanted to write!

So, how did I end up like this? Here’s the gist…

Earlier today, I was scrolling through Medium, getting ready for a series I’ve had in my head for a while now.

And you know how you get ideas while reading through others’ works? Yeah, I got an idea for a fantastic post at the time.

But now, I can’t remember what it was.

I even tried recreating the scenario this afternoon but I can’t get myself to remember what clicked in my head.

All I remember is the feeling that I’ve lost something that may have been important — an article I really wanted to write.

The sensation remains but the idea is gone.

It’s like looking at a plate of pie but realizing you can’t reach it.

Normally, when I get such ideas, I immediately save them to my Notion list. But I got distracted and the thoughts flew far away.

Ok, so why am I writing about this in the first place?

To try to reset my memory.

Usually, thinking about something else leads my mind back to the idea I’m looking for.

But as I write that sentence, I realize today might not be the case.

After all, writing about this lost idea is the same as thinking about it, right? In that case, here’s where I draw the line.

What would you do in this situation?

(Sigh) It’s hard to be creative…
