It’s been an interesting and wonderful year. It’s crazy to think that 2015 is less than one month away already. I mean really, where the hell did 2014 go? I’ve learned a lot about myself despite how much I like to think I know. I bet you have too.

This time of year we tend to start thinking about new goals and reflect on the old ones. The year end is a great moment for analyzing ourselves, but at the same time we shouldn’t let it define us. Our defining moments are never based on any other timeline than our own. We have the ability to set goals and start new project any time of the year. The yearly calendar just happens to make it more convenient.

Never let the calendar define what you are capable of. Time is not a measure of your will.

When you start to think about this coming year or even the goals of the current one, don’t let a 365 day timeline be the end. Just let it be a part of it. Great things can happen in a year, but wonderful things happen in a lifetime. What we did and what we expected are usually never the same. You are not alone in that. Be grateful for what you did and keep reaching for what you expect because sometimes we exceed our expectations and that’s a great thing to celebrate.
