IKEA旗下的SPACE10創新實驗室與世界各地的design and technology studios合作一系列探究科技如何改變居家生活的實驗，Everyday Experiments (EE)，大至改變空間佈置，小至語音助理。融合LiDAR、AR、IoT以及AI等技術讓使用者可以更認識自己的家。
隨著全球COVID-19疫情延燒兩年，人們花更多心思在改造自己的家，也許疫情過後，許多產業的工作型態會逐漸熟悉Work from home，Everyday Experiments裡各個實驗的宗旨說不定就能讓更多人看到。
Studio
透過LiDAR的技術做Spatial Mapping，讓你可以自由擺放IKEA的家具於AR環境，並增加與物品的互動(e.g. 開燈)，更進一步地利用指南功能引導使用者建立更有效率的工作環境。
當然，看起來也太理想XD，在Everyday Experiments裡很多都是Prototypes，不過這個實驗是有打算要做成產品，可以上designwith.studio去Sign up提前卡位Beta版。

房間裡的大象，用來隱喻某件雖然明顯卻被集體視而不見、不做討論的事情或者風險，抑或是一種不敢反抗爭辯某些明顯的問題的集體迷思。
FIELD.SYSTEMS反轉隱喻「房間裡的大象」，讓大象去量測空間的大小。

使用者可以用於掃描自家的牆面，Shelve It 會去針對可利用的牆面空間去設計出系統櫃擺置。

This is exciting. An application of a model like this could be used by those looking to re-decorate, or even to give interior decorators or designers new ideas on what to do with a room and furniture.

演算法學習家具擺放規則，讓模型可以判斷怎樣的空間適合怎樣的家具擺放。

AR數位助理，能夠透過視覺化傳遞資訊，更透過AI, NLP去迅速解讀長篇大論的terms and conditions (T&C)、回答使用者對於T&C的疑問。
Invisible Roommates
創造出生存在AR世界的室友，透過AR顯現各電子設備的活動狀態及之間的互動。

以上是我從全部實驗中抓出幾項我覺得特別有趣的，分享給大家。透過Everyday Experiments我也認識到很多有趣的Studios，像是Bakken & Bæck、Random Studio、FIELD…，他們都喜歡將科技用不一樣的角度探索生活的細節。
