Hello Tryvium followers,

This is the third post of the Tryvium development updates series.

We are happy to confirm again that development is progressing on schedule as per the official roadmap. We are going to explain the various implementation choices relative to the platform and notify you about current Tryvium attended events.

BTO2019: Shaping Blockchain for Tourism

The Tryvium team has been invited in BTO2019 tourism event in Florence. There, we talked about how current Blockchain ecosystems can (and will) be used to implement the travel technology of next generation.

Our CTO Alessandro Sanino handled the speech “Shaping Blockchain for Tourism” as panelist and talked about the current challenges of distributed systems, DLTs and blockchains have to face to remain competitive on the market.

We presented the hybrid architecture Tryvium is going to have to protect its customers and how it will be GDPR compliant and deliver real world solutions to the hospitality industry.

Backend Progress

We are now moving forward with backend implementation of host-side operations and APIs (e.g. creation and management of Companies, Hotels and Stats about reservations, Invoices, etc…) while the designers are creating the traveler-side user experience and interfaces.

We are also integrating massive email feature and adding AWS SES to be able to deliver emails when it will be necessary.

The DevOps systems research has started and we plan to implement practical solutions for our internal team soon.

Frontend Progress

Our designer team is continuing with the design of UI/UX of the traveler-side part of the Booking Platform — sneak-peek available here:

More news will come with the next update, stay tuned.
