Hello Tryvium followers,

This is the eighth post of the Tryvium development updates series.

In this update we will discuss the latest news about the platform development.

Platform Development 💻

There is a massive upgrade in what is being shown to users:

  • The frontend is no longer using mock data, it now directly queries the backend of a set of demo hotels hosted on our servers: this will be substituted with the real set of hotels when we go live after the beta phase.
  • There has been a huge number of performance optimizations (see next section)

Performance Scores 🚀

The Tryvium Platform, currently in preview mode and cited in past updates, is getting incrementally better as time passes, and we have spent the month of august on Bug Fixing and Optimizing the whole architecture.

We got our website performance report from GTMetrix independent website:

It is a service which reviews websites from a speed and optimization point of view and reports all the scores and suggestions you can follow to make your website fit in the new web era.

Here is a preview from the Report Link.

Latest Performance Report

As you can see, the results we have obtained are amazing for a project in development phase.

Loading time of 1.2 seconds (usual value for this parameter is 7 seconds) allows for the best user experience from a speed point of view, the perception is equal to the one using an app (but actually requesting all data from an external server).

We are working to make this score even better, when we reach 98%+ on both PageSpeed and YSlow, we will write in another development update the news.

We really thank you for your reading time, keep in touch with us in the next update and stay tuned.
