Great Scott! Foster ad ignores female voices on the Tucson city council, Shirley Kristel must be joking?

Luckily none of these Democrats mentioned above are up for re-election this year or else they might have to support their decision to look the other way as their own Tucson Police SROs get death threats in TUSD schools.

But we get another example of how Kristel Foster twists numbers to her advantage. Notice that she says that “all 5 Tucson City Council Members” endorse her. Her campaign manager, Diana Rhoades, should know a lot better than this since she was a former staffer for Regina Romero.

There are 6 council members for the city of Tucson. I guess female voices do not matter, such as that of Shirley Scott, the councilor that Kristel Foster ignores in her misleading advertisement above that suggest there are only 5 council members in Tucson.

If Mayor Rothschild claims that Kristel has his “full confidence and support” after all these stories of massive violence that threaten his own police force, a continued disdain for federal desegregation orders, and refusing to spend Prop 301 and 123 monies on teacher salaries… this is gives more credence to the fact that politicians put party before the people.
