The Templeton Community Schools Team (CST) connects Titans to volunteering opportunities in the community through partner organizations and by working directly with students of neighbouring elementary schools. Our programs and special events would not be possible without the help of our hard-working Titans volunteering weekly, sometimes several times a week!

Some of the many volunteering opportunities coming up in the New Year are Winter 2017 programs, Spring Break Camp, Grade 7 Conference, and Summer 2017 programs. Be sure to listen to the announcements as the CST promotes more volunteering opportunities and ways to give back to our community.

The CST will highlight a Titan of the Month each Templeton Magazine issue, so be on the lookout for features on your fellow Titans! Check out what one volunteer said regarding his experience as a Grade 7 Conference leader:

Grade 7 boys are known to have a lot of energy. One might think they would make for a hectic environment, but they’d be wrong. The children were shy when we all first met, but as the day went on, they began to connect with the student facilitators and leaders. I believe the quick games we got to play really helped. After lunch, the boys were louder and more excited, but still respected us volunteers. It was a fun and entertaining way to obtain volunteer hours, while also missing an entire day of school.
