Templeton Gallery
A glimpse of art.
[Disclaimer: All photos used within this gallery belongs to TSSM. Art works showcased are owned by the student respectively.]
- First up, we have a collaborative piece of the Templeton art class. Each square was made by a different student.
These two compiled class pieces are inspired by famous line-artists and their work. The photos shown only reveal two of the many final products among the Templeton classes.
2) These next two are from Cathy L.
This first piece displays a young man, with a hair style that is common in Korean culture. The atmosphere seems dark with an emotionless state of uncertainty. Although it is unclear what is protruding from his mouth, it is possibly a large piece of gum.
The photo following this young man, depicts a dragon with flames that bend with a colourful brilliance. The simplicity of the dragon shines with the beautiful painting method.
3) The next three are created by an artist named Max C.
I admire the way Max made the dark side of the building, fade as it descended.
The two piece that showcase the skeletal depictions, show a very poetic side to Max’s work. From simple stokes to fine details, Max has out done himself.
4) Next, there’s two submissions from Daemon B.
Daemon’s style is a playful sketch. Little bits of colour stand out of the black and white design.
5) Now, we see a handful of single-piece-submissions from talented students. Let’s begin.
This elegant piece was painted by Tanya P. Stunning butterfly.
Although she isn’t quite finished, this piece is coming a long nicely. Keep up the great job Lexie G.
The artist of this anime-styled portrait, Arik B. , was very excited to be in this gallery. Nice art piece Arik.
This piece is a collage of magazine cutouts by Isabella R. The piece looks busy, and the artist used the space very effectively.
This pointillism piece by Ivan K. looks very stylish.
A very open piece by Maddie N. This piece screams authentic / raw emotion. Great work Maddie.
Next up we have Inessa B. with a colourful piece. The space was used very playfully, which makes for a pretty work of art.
This line-art piece by Donna F. screams courage. The piece is simple, yet bold.
This next piece by Lisa N. shows multi-coloured ropes descending from the heavens. An uplifting piece. We could all use a life line every now and then.
6) Now we enter the part of the gallery from pieces that were inspired by ‘Colour Theory’ artists.
Belle E. created this stunning pool of blue. The colours fade and mix, fighting for dominance over the piece.
The spread of the colours throughout the canvas makes for a vivid and tantalising work of art. This was made by Cindy Z.
This quiet and lonely piece does a great job of intimating reality. Ellen Z. does a great job coordinating colours to form a beautiful scenery.
Louisa S. created this piece by utilising the beauty in the consistency of paint. The smudging and fading of the water colours made this piece pop.
7) This last submission is from one of our own designers in the TSSM program.
This gorgeous piece by Valphalyn O. shows a glimpse of her imagination. The girl in this piece appears as a mystic being with a graceful tone. A simply beautiful piece.
