Specialisation required: UX Content strategy, Microcopy(UI) Writing with an understanding of User-Centered Problem-solving.

What does a UX content strategist do?

  • Drives vision for user-centered product communication strategies for the organization by creating guidelines to ensure cohesive product narratives and maintain a unique product personality across all our product touchpoints.
  • Uses writing and editing skills to create clear, concise, useful content under creative constraints such as exact word limits, different user personas, abstract ideas and specific guidelines( from brand/product/design) to facilitate elegant end-to-end user experience (e.g. user navigations, error messages, instructional materials, CTAs)
  • Run hypothesis based experiments to push innovation than only rely upon standard principles.
  • Actively involves in creating post-project documentation of product development and maintains an archive for the organization.
  • Develops information architecture for complex documentation sets of product suites for the organization and promote content strategy.
  • Drives tasks from need-assessments to implementation identifies opportunities, establishes priorities, secures resources, and manages stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with product managers, designers, business strategists, and engineers as an equal contributor to product problem-solving efforts.
  • Influences and adapts to stakeholders and their feedback.
  • Iterates.. and iterates more if needed to bring the best result.

Who Can Apply?

  • Anyone with a bachelor’s degree in Creative writing/ Design/ Journalism/ HCI / Communication or equivalent experience in UX writing/ Product Communications or Copywriting.
  • 2–4 years of relevant UX-copy experience with consumer-facing products(writing for digital products like apps and websites) with a portfolio of Creative writing and UX-focused writing samples. As a stellar writer, your work should demonstrate content that simplifies and beautifies the overall user experience.
  • Apart from having great command in the English language, it is mandatory to have good communication skill in Hindi to be able to manage conversations when needed.
  • A self-starter by nature, who can manage projects in a fast-paced environment and remain focused amidst frequently changing requirements when needed.

It would be certainly handy if you are more empathetic(understanding of how users may behave), know some essentials of behavioral psychology and decision-making.
