A step-by-step guide to complete KYC verification process in TTC Connect
This article will provide a walkthrough of KYC process in TTC Connect. KYC will begin starting on August 9th, 2019.
Why do you need to complete KYC?
First, here is a brief explanation of why KYC is important and why we ask this from you.
KYC (or Know-Your-Customer) is a common practice, especially in financial institutions. KYC allows us to comply with Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) laws. We need relevant information about our users for us to be able to provide a better, safer, and more secure platform for all users worldwide.
In blockchain space, the KYC process is required in various occasion; ICO, token sale, airdrop, and so on. Those who complete the KYC process will be able to connect tata with TTC Connect for ACN rewards, participate in the CLAY token sale easily, and utilize Tigris Decentralized Financial (DeFi) services all with a touch of a button.
How to complete KYC in TTC Connect
Users are required to complete a KYC verification prior to participating️ ️in the CLAY token sale and connecting tata with ACN rewards. Please follow the below steps to complete your KYC verification.
The KYC verification is conducted via TTC Connect. Please download TTC Connect if you have not already.
Google Play Store|Apple App Store
- County: Select the country, from where your ID is issued.
- Name: Enter your legal name. Make sure that this matches with your ID.
- Email: Enter an email address, which you have a full access to. You will be notified of your verification process through this email address.
- ID Type: Select a type of government-issued ID you wish to use to verify yourself with.
- Upload photos according to the instruction given. Make sure that all the photos are clearly visible and the information on ID is legible.
- Click “Submit”
The actual verification process could take up to 72 hours. You will be notified by the email you provided in step 3.
