Introducing tataUFO, the TTC Protocol’s first dAPP

tataUFO is a social network service founded in 2013 by Brian Cheong, who is also a founder for TTC Protocol.
tataUFO has grown steadily since its launch, recording 11 million registered users. The figure continues to increase each day, accumulating high levels of participation from newly registered users.
500% YoY of MAU in 1Q18 shows even greater potential. To explain such growth and how the users became loyal to the service, let’s look into tataUFO’s service.
tataUFO first launched as an online match-making service for students of China’s most prominent universities, such as Peking University and People’s University in China. Every day at 10pm, tataUFO matches users with similar interests and recommends individualized content, using the big data and cloud computing technology.
Such model showed a great initial growth for first two years, however, tataUFO faced an invisible ceiling in expanding the service to a greater number of users. At 2015, Brian decided that it was time for tataUFO to take a leap of faith and shift the concept of the service.
Within 3 months, tataUFO turned itself to the more casual social networking service that enabled users to share their daily lives and interact with one another. On thing tataUFO focused meticulously was the quality of contents being shared on tataUFO. tataUFO supports the images and video clips in higher-resolution compared to WeChat, the biggest Messenger App in China. Maximizing the convenience and making tataUFO a much more attractive platform.
The market and users showed an explosive interest instantly. Today, over 80m messages are being sent & received between users everyday in tataUFO.
tataUFO recently launched the English version as a stepping-stone of entering the global market. TataUFO also plans to provide more value to users by establishing a decentralized and token-incentivized social network service through the TTC Open Platform.
Together with tataUFO, TTC will do its best to build the world’s most influential social network blockchain ecosystem.
