TU Incubator welcomes new virtual member company — We Are Marcus
With so many information floating all over the internet, it’s no wonder why so many young people can get lost. Between the appeal of social media and existing challenges in school (bullying, peer-pressure, etc.), the world can be a scary place for a young black man. We Are Marcus is here to help change that.
We Are Marcus is a technology-based, character development program. People with diverse backgrounds and experiences, such as entrepreneurs, teachers, social workers, business developers and mentors, make up the entirety of the We Are Marcus team.
We Are Marcus leverages technology to help young black men succeed in their lives through coaching, storytelling and open discussions. Through their online platform, We Are Marcus can have a much larger reach that can create a more meaningful impact.
Today, school dropout rates is still a big issue and education professionals are always looking for ways to give their struggling students a successful outcome; and become a more productive member of society.
Dedication and passion to children’s future, is what drives the team at We Are Marcus.
