Michael J. Fox transforms in this essential ’80s comedy that served as the inspiration for the MTV series.

The Birdcage (1996)

Robin Williams, Nathan Lane, Gene Hackman, and Dianne Wiest lead a cast in this charming ’90s comedy directed by Mike Nichols.

New in Town (2009)

Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. charm in this fish-out-of-water rom-com.

Though it was overshadowed by Speed, which came out the same year, this action movie features plenty of great explosions (duh) and strong performances from Tommy Lee Jones and Jeff Bridges.

Star Trek: Insurrection (2002)

The last outing by the Captain Picard crew of the Enterprise, Insurrection also includes now-star Tom Hardy in an early role.

The Running Man (1987)

Set in a futuristic 2017, this sci-fi action movie stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as a man who must evade death on a game show.

Overboard (1987)

Forces of Nature (1999)

Opposites attract in this romantic comedy starring Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock.

Indecent Proposal (1993)

Robert Redford definitely still has it in this steamy drama that finds his character offering a husband (Woody Harrelson) a million dollars for a night with his wife (Demi Moore).

Harsh Times (2006)

Director David Ayer (Fury, Suicide Squad) showed a lot of promise in his debut, which stars Christian Bale and Freddy Rodriguez.
