National Humor Month: Full-Length Standup Comedy Streaming Free Now on Tubi TV
Did you know that April is National Humor Month? That’s right, it’s a whole 30 days dedicated to celebrating the value of a good belly laugh. Here at Tubi TV, we love spending a night with gut-busting comedy, and with our collection of full-length standup comedy specials, you can too. Here’s just a few of our favorites:
1.Comedy Kings (2013)
A compilation of the best comedy acts from the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, this series features a who’s who of stellar comics that range from megastars like Louis C.K. and Aziz Ansari to beloved cult comedy icons like Noel Fielding.
2. Whitney Cummings: Money Shot (2011)
Comedy Central roast veteran Whitney Cummings gets the stage to herself in this debut special, which finds the young comedian riffing on a wide range of topics, chiefly the differences between men and women and how both behave in relationships.
3. Gina Yashere: Laughing to America (2014)
Gina Yashere is fiercely funny and her impressions are spot-on. Her boisterous, irreverant take on everything from people who love their pets too much to ballsy Somali pirates will have you shooting soda through your nose. You’ve been warned.
4. Brian Posehn: The Fartist (2013)
Brian Posehn is the comic and actor that you might recognize as Bert Kibbler on the sitcom Big Bang Theory or as a recurring guest on the hit late-night comedy game show @Midnight. In this special, Posehn lets loose with the humor of a hyper-observant 14-year-old. It’s not highbrow, and we don’t care: it’s freaking hilarious.
5. Stella: Live in Boston (2008)
This trio is known for their critically acclaimed Comedy Central series, their long-running nightclub show, and their wildly popular series of shorts on the web. In this special, Stella (Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter and David Wain) are captured live in concert in all of their bizarre, uncensored glory. There’s serious comedy chops at work here (Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter are the co-creators and writers of the all-star movie Wet Hot American Summer), and it shows!
6. Upright Citizens Brigade: ASSSSCAT (2008)
ASSSSCAT is the Upright Citizens Brigade’s long-running improv juggernaut that played to critical acclaim and sold out audiences in New York City and Los Angeles for years. This one features household names Amy Poehler, Thomas Lennon, Will Arnett, Horatio Sanz and more.
