Watch Before They’re Gone! These Movies Are Leaving Tubi TV At The End of May
The end of May is coming fast, and that means great new free movies coming to Tubi in June. Sadly that also means that we have to wave goodbye to some movies that will be leaving Tubi TV at the end of the May. Luckily, there’s still time for you to catch these flicks before they’re gone. Here are some of our favorites:
Kon-Tiki (Leaves May 26, 2017)
There’s good reason why this thrilling adventure tale was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Find out how Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl crossed the Pacific ocean in a balsa wood raft in 1947. The together with five men, they set off on an epic 101 day-long journey across 8,000 kilometers, all while the world was watching.
Cooties (Leaves May 31, 2017)
When an unsuspecting 4th grader at Ft. Chicken Elementary eats a tainted chicken nugget, a horrible scourge is unleashed: a plague of cooties that turns prepubescent children into rabid zombies. Now substitute teacher and aspiring horror writer Clint Hadson (Elijah Wood) has to team up with what’s left of the teaching staff and the school janitor to try and get out alive.
Blue Velvet (Leaves May 31, 2017)
A sensual mystery thriller about strange happenings in a small North Carolina town that got director David Lynch (of “Twin Peaks” fame) nominated for an Oscar. A college student stumbles across a bizarre mystery and wants to know more, perhaps too much more. The strange world he’s found lurking beneath his hometown’s picture-postcard veneer is about to become much stranger. It is also an unforgettably fascinating and foreboding world.
House of 1,000 Corpses (Leaves May 31, 2017)
In this beloved cult favorite from iconic horror director Rob Zombie, two teenage couples traveling across the backwoods of Texas searching for urban legends of serial killers end up as prisoners of a bizarre and sadistic backwater family of serial killers. Honestly, there are worse things to do on a double date.
Revolutionary Road (Leaves May 31, 2017)
Starring Oscar winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, this mesmerizing and moving story follows the lives of a young couple living in suburban 1950s Connecticut who decide to risk everything to pursue their dreams.
