This week we soft-launched our latest product, the Video Book. It’s an elegant keepsake with a 7" HD Screen with built-in speakers. Like the Hallmark audio cards of old, this plays the moment you open it. The screen is an HD IPS panel, which means it can be viewed from all angles. This is consistent with the screen quality on our smartphones and isn’t found in many video cards.

It contains a rechargeable battery that lasts for 2 hours of continuous playback. That adds up to watching the average video about 20 times. The buttons are touch-sensitive, which gives them a high-quality feeling as well.

The initial feedback we have been getting has been phenomenal! People love it! We’ve had funeral homes purchasing bulk orders within minutes of holding one for the first time.

How does it work?

There are 2 ways to buy and sell the video book.

  1. The first (like many other Tukios products) is that it can be ordered on a per-video basis. In these circumstances, Tukios will load the video on the book, place the photo in the cover, and ship it out to the family or the funeral home.
  2. The second option (that so far seems to be pretty popular) is where the funeral home can do the fulfillment in-house. In order for this to work the Video Books are ordered in bulk from Tukios. Then the funeral director can load the video file, the photo, and ship or deliver the completed product. The advantage of this method is that you can hand the Video Book to the family at the visitation or service.

What does it cost?

A single Video Book is $75 when ordered from Tukios. That includes shipping with a product ready to hand to the family.

When ordered in bulk the Video Books are discounted. An order of 10 Video Books starts at $65 each. The higher the quantity the greater the discount.
