TulsaUX had it’s second meeting of the year on Tuesday, February 13th. If you’d like to become more involved or present at a meetup, please contact us at hello@tulsaux.com!

The Presentation

“The Future of UI within AR/VR “ by Avery Wilson

The presentation this month was by Avery Wilson. Avery is a freelance front end developer and designer from Oklahoma, who recently moved to Orlando, Florida. He’s worked with some amazing companies – from Disney to Rifle Paper Company.

His talk was about the different ways UI is being used in AR/VR technology and how to get started with new design systems in these interfaces. He ended the talk with a fantastic Q&A about VR/AR adoption issues and hardware requirements to break into the field.

Thanks to everyone who attended! We want to also thank our sponsors: TEKsystems for the catering and 36°N for the venue space.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, March13th. You can RSVP for the meeting here.
