TulsaUX had it’s third meeting on Tuesday, Sept 12th. This meeting set our monthly average to over 30 people! We couldn’t be more excited about how the group is growing. you’d like to become more involved or present at a meetup, please contact us at hello@tulsaux.com!

The Presentation

Designing for Data

The presentation this month was from David Duncan, an experience consultant at InterWorks. David works directly with both clients and the development team to find the most useful ways to display information through the data visualization software, Tableau.

David gave an overview of the design considerations and constraints he has to work with in his role. He described design principles he uses to bring the data to the forefront.

He concluded his presentation with a UI checklist to improve dashboard designs and a summary of his workflow using Sketch.
