When we had to get to San Francisco for our summer jobs, money became an issue to these two third year students hailing from the University of Florida.

Plane: expensive. Train: impractical. Car: crazy…

… we like crazy.

Nikhil and Takashi: two crazy college kids in natural habitat

So we packed up my Honda Element with our luggage, a tent, stove, water jug, and duffel bag of Clif bars, barbeque sauce, tuna packets, and some bowtie pasta, and hit the road, in a both inefficient and adventurous way and explored the United States of America.

18 days,

When you are on a three week road, you have a lot of free time to be bored.

So, our solution: to record, produce, and edit a full season long radio show about our trip. After a couple too many recordings of us simply eating lunch, we decided to specify the purpose of the show.

While lying on the grass of Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta, we decide:

“We are boring. But, the best of traveling is meeting people. So why don’t we interview people on the road, learn their stories, and ask for their greatest life lesson”

The result, a twelve episode podcast series titled Tuna Pasta: a collection of conversations recorded across the United States where we share the stories of the people and places we often pass by.

Starting June 30, an episode is released every Friday. If you like more info about us, please check us out on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
