SOMESING, Tune Token & Cre8tor.app Form Strong Partnership within Blockchain Music Industry
SEOUL, KOREA-At an invite only event held in Itaewon on September 3rd, SOMESING, the final winner of Block Battle Season 2, signed a strategic partnership agreement with TUNE Token, a Cayman Islands based music blockchain platform & Cre8tor.app, an award winning, US based music collaboration platform.
TUNE Token was launched in 2018 to address song rights transparency issues in the music industry and to reward those who contribute to the growth of music platform’s by either creating, sharing or discovering content.
TUNE was co-founded by Executive music producer Erik Mendelson, Multi-Platinum Recording artist MIMS and Grammy award winning music producer Winston “DJ Blackout” Thomas. Tune Token’s first platform partner Cre8tor App allows amateur artists the ability to create original songs and videos with award winning music producers from the palm of their hand. Cre8tor App won the famous TechCrunch Disrupt Cup in 2017.
Cre8tor.app is supported by some of the world’s largest record labels, management companies and music publishers and counts Grammy award winning music producer, artist and philanthropist will.i.am as an advisor.
“Based on the wide network and experiences of the American music field of Tune Token, we will be able to lay the groundwork for our market entry to the U.S,” said Heuibae Kim, CEO of SOMESING. Erik Mendelson, CEO of Tune, expressed hope, “By sharing the database and library of both applications, we can provide users with a wider range of singing experiences that will hopefully contribute to the user growth of both platforms and the adoption of our native cryptocurrency, including music artists, producers and music fans.”

Through this partnership, the two companies agreed to strengthen their competitiveness in each market, and jointly promote global marketing. Kim, CEO of SOMESING, and Mendelson, CEO of Tune Token, have agreed to participate as an Advisor to each of the projects in hopes of building a strong partnership.

대한민국 서울– ‘블록배틀 시즌2’ 최종 우승팀인 썸씽(SOMESING)은 지난 9월 3일 저녁 이태원에서 개최된 비공개 행사에서 음악 콜라보레이션 플랫폼인 크리에이터 앱 (Cre8tor.app)을 개발하고 수많은 수상이력을 가진 미국 블록체인 뮤직 플랫폼 회사인 튠 토큰 (Tune Token)과 전략적 파트너쉽 계약을 체결했다.
