TUNE Token & Cre8tor.app Bring Together Korea’s Music & Blockchain Industries
SEOUL, KOREA-TUNE Token & Cre8tor.app hosted a private event that brought together Korea’s music industry and the blockchain community for a special night of celebration and networking.
Guests were treated to a surprise performance by former Dal Shabet recording artist DalSooobin with additional DJ performances by DJ Tay and TUNE CO-Founder, Grammy award winning music producer DJ Blackout. Cre8tor.app CO-Founder, Multi-platinum recording artist MIMS hosted the evening and performed some of his classic records including his #1 worldwide single, “This Is Why I’m Hot.”
Attendees included MKIT Rain producer Louie Maui, K-Pop music producer Jermain, and numerous executives from Korea’s top record labels.
One of the nights highlights included a video message from Cre8tor.app’s first talent discovery Jufu who expressed his gratitude for creating musical content on Cre8tor.app which caught the attention of major US recording labels including: Island Records, Artista Records, Interscope Records, Def Jam, AWAL and United Masters.

Through the music, laughter and conversation, TUNE CEO Erik Mendelson announced 3 new partners and executed live MOU signings with each of them including: SOMESING, Overdigm and Lala Entertainment.
Prominent executives from the blockchain community included those from: Bithumb, Korbit, Bitsonic, Huobi, LA Token, Bluebit and Liquid exchange.

걸그룹 달샤벳 멤버였던 아티스트 수빈과 DJ Tay, 튠의 공동 창업자이자 그래미 수상 프로듀서인 DJ블랙아웃이 함께하는 깜짝 무대도 진행되었다. 크리에이터 앱의 공동 창업자이자 멀티플래티넘 앨범 판매 기록을 가지고 있는 아티스트인 밈스(MIMS)는 행사를 주최하면서, MIMS 앨범 중 가장 널리 알려진 전세계적인 히트곡인 “This Is Why I’m Hot” 노래 등을 직접 공연하는 시간도 가졌다.
본 행사에는 메킷레인 프로듀서인 루이마위(Louis Maui), K-Pop 프로듀서인 Jermain 및 한국의 대형 기획사, 레이블에서 온 다수의 고위 음반 관계자들이 자리를 빛내 주었다.
