“Not Me. Us” — means when we cast our vote, we do so with care. We’re casting our vote together for our state, and our community. This page will be dedicated to recording the endorsements that I’ve won on the way to winning your vote as your State Senator.
I am pleased to announce the endorsement of a member of the Georgia House of Representatives — and a man admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court has endorsed my candidacy. The Hon. Frank Bradford.
Frank Bradford was elected to the House in 1996 and began one of the most storied careers in the history of Georgia State Politics. He is a skilled legislator and attorney, holding the bar in South Carolina, and Georgia and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. As a member of the House Children and Youth, Industrial Relations, and State Institutions and Property Committee — he represented Cobb County with skill and honor. His admission to practice before the Supreme Court was won from his ability to understand constitutional order, and balance. I am proud, and honored to be endorsed by Frank Bradford — and to call him my friend.
I have in this early stage of my campaign racked up several other endorsements from various organizations, including, but not limited to those organizations dedicated to preservation of human rights — and one that seeks to change the way that the Gerrymander operates. It goes without saying that I am also under review by an organization that protects women’s rights. The endorsements I have at present sought reflect the principles I hold — the others will come. I’ll publish them here, on this page — at a later date.
The endorsements I place here will hopefully help the reader to understand the general legislative agenda I would pursue — but I in the end, the only one that matters is the voter. I will only seek those endorsements that align with my principles, and the values I believe are needed to best represent my voters in District 37. Who knows? One day I may even win my opponent’s endorsement. If so, I’ll place it here. :)
