Hello guys,

Well, it’s our second anniversary and we are happy to share what we have been doing, the progress we’ve made so far and what we are doing for the future.

Tushstories started as a blog two years ago to publish creative writings by upcoming writers on the internet. We noticed that young African writers needed a dedicated platform where they could showcase their creativity and receive feedback which would help them grow and mature into the writers of tomorrow.

On the course of our blogging journey, we discovered that there are a lot of talented writers from this part of the world who deserve to make a living from their creativity and talent but that is very hard especially for upcoming writers here. That needed to change.

To find a way to change that, we upgraded the blog to a full literary content platform with features that enable users to create stories and earn from their creative writings using our user subscription model. Now, users can sign up and create stories, other users can read, follow, like and subscribe to their favorite writers.

Despite the progress, we have had some complaints with the payment system for user subscription but we have already started working on an easier alternative payment system which will be combined with the current one to give users more options. We have also been getting requests for the mobile app which is underway. In fact, the user interface has already been designed and it’s superb!

As we celebrate our second anniversary, we want to take out time to thank you for always being our support. It is through your support that we have been able to grow from a glorified blog to a really cool content platform with over 2000 signed up users and over a thousand stories, poems, articles and diary posts.

With all this support you have given to us, we will not rest until every writer, whether upcoming, intermediary or professional, have been given equal opportunity to earn from their God-given talent.

Thank you.
