We’re so pleased to share that Sunday has raised $19 million in Series B funding led by Sequoia Capital. Sunday is a DTC lawn care company providing non-toxic customized formulations and products to people all over the US.

Founded by Coulter Lewis, Sunday is the most innovative and unique challenger to traditional lawn care. Sunday’s direct to consumer subscription business model spares consumers all the pain of figuring out what to buy and how to lug it back home, and offers an honest antidote to the mass-produced, one-size-fits-all offerings in the $48B DIY lawn and garden market today. Sunday is simpler, safer, and more sustainable than any other brand in its category — and is on track to completely revolutionize the overly-complicated, overly-toxic industry with advanced agritech.

This new round of financing will help propel Sunday into new product lines and technologies like pest control, region-specific products, gardening formulas, and property care — all while offering a safer alternative to the chemicals and additives Americans have been sold for decades.

We have been investors in Sunday since the Seed and led the Series A last year. We’re so proud of Coulter and the whole team for what they’ve accomplished, and are thrilled to continue supporting Sunday as it grows. Sunday has already transformed over 10,000 acres of lawns — just 40 million more to go!
