The origin: why Education sucks

Hello world!

This is our first post in the Tutellus.io blog, and we wanted to share with you several thoughts that helped us to decide to go on in this adventure.

Main reason is that Education sucks. And online Education also sucks!

Let’s look for the system and pains we find here:

  • Studying is a hard process: it costs money and requires attention and exclusivity. It’s more exciting to stay in FB, Tinder or IG than studying!
  • Teaching is badly paid: teachers don’t earn more money depending on the quality or relevance their students get.
  • Employment and Learning are far away: companies need people, people need jobs and they don’t match each other.

These problems are commons both offline and online education. Main platforms as Coursera, Udemy, Lynda or Edx don’t solve them.

So… what if we could change the status-quo?

Could we solve from Tutellus, from the inside market, those problems?

After 4 years leading the EdTech industry we think so: we know their desires, their hopes, their pains & their opportunities, and are sure we can change the world forever applying next guidelines:

  • Students earn money studying: the more they do, the more they get.
  • Teachers earn more money with their best students.
  • Companies access to best students microsegmenting their skills.

The key: tokenizing our main asset

We’ve been working last months redesigning all Tutellus to be able to decentralize services and to tokenize our main asset: the Relevance (knowledge in microskills) of 1 million students.

Empowering our Community through a ERC20 token over the Ethereum blockchain is the step one of an incredible journey.

Are you in?
