Survivor 50: Legends Fantasy Cast
Jeff Probst has recently announced that he will Survivor 50 will be a returning season! This is so excited as I feel like since Survivor 43 the quality of the show has went downhill. Survivor 41 and Survivor 42 were great but besides those two I haven’t been impressed. This will be a fantasy cast for Survivor 50 — All Legends.
Rules:
- 2 tribes of 12 (Biggest Season Ever)
- 1 tribe of winners, 1 tribe of non-winners
- I am going to make this as realistic as possible
Winners Tribe
Parvati Shallow
Winning Season:
- Survivor: Micronesia
Parvati was recently seen on Survivor: Winners at War and The Traitors 2. I know there is a lot of hesistation if Parvati will ever play the game again but this is Survivor 50 and I don’t see her rejecting it especially if the monetary value is there. She is an icon of the game and I’d love to see her play again.
MaryAnne Oketch
Winning Season:
- Survivor 42
MaryAnne will be one of the newer winners on this season. She played a great game on Survivor 42 and was a fan favorite. I would absolutely love to see her play again especially with all legends.
Vecepia Towery
Winning Season:
- Survivor: Marquesas
Vecepia is one of the winners that should have gotten a call for Winners at War. It’s honestly disappointing that she didn’t. I wonder how she would play on this season with a bunch of new talent. Let’s not forget that she won all the way back in season 4.
Sarah Lacina
Winning Season:
- Survivor: Game Changers
I know a lot of people say Sarah won’t play again. Sarah is one of the best players to play the game. There is an argument that she would have won Survivor: Winners at War if she won the fire making competition at the end. Sarah needs to play this game again.
Dee Valladares
Winning Season:
- Survivor 45
Dee played one of the best games in all 45 seasons. I know she is one of the newer winners but in the last 10 seasons her win is up there with Tony Vlachos win on Winners at War and Wendell Holland’s win on Ghost Island. I think she could get pretty far on this season like Parvati Shallow did on Heroes vs Villains.
Sandra Diaz-Twine
Winning Seasons:
- Survivor: Pearl Islands
- Survivor: Heroes vs Villains
Sandra is the first 2-time winner. She is also the only 2-time winner I think would accept the call. I think Tony Vlachos is done with the show which is sort of sad. I actually think Sandra would get pretty far on this season just because there are so many other targets and she did not do well on Game Changers or Winners at War.
“Boston Rob” Mariano
Winning Season:
- Survivor: Redemption Island
Boston Rob is another one that would probably have to take convincing to come back to the show. He did not have a good performence on Winners at War but I can’t see him sitting out of Survivor 50. If he works with Vecepia, Parvati and the next person on this list then he might make it far.
Tyson Apostol
Winning Season:
- Survivor: Blood vs Water
Tyson has played this game a lot. He first started on Tocantins and then went to Heroes vs Villains and then he won Blood vs Water and then he played Winners at War. This would be his fifth time playing but with this potential cast I can see him getting far. He would definitely be a threat but all of the winners are threats.
Yam Yam Arocho
Winning Season:
- Survivor 44
Yam Yam was a fan favorite when he played Survivor 44. He played a great game and got to the end. I would love to see how he would play with other legends of the game. For some reason I think the old school players would target him first.
Earl Cole
Winning Season:
- Survivor: Fiji
Earl played one of the best winning games in the history of the show. He played fantastic on Fiji and got the win. He should have been on Winners at War but hopefully he will be on season 50.
John Cochran
Winning Season:
- Survivor: Caramoan
I know Cochran said he would never play again and if he did want to play again it should have been on Winners at War. I think if the price is right he would come back to season 50. The opportunity to play with Boston Rob, Parvati, and Hatch would make Cochran want to return.
Richard Hatch
Winning Season:
- Survivor: Borneo
The first ever winner is back! He is making his reality TV return on House of Villains 2 on E Network so I can see him coming back to Survivor. There are people who wanted him on Heroes vs Villains and Winners at War but he didn’t get the call for either season. If Richard Hatch is on season 50 he would be my prediction for first boot.
Non-Winners Tribe
Amanda Kimmel
Seasons:
- Survivor: China (3rd)
- Survivor: Micronesia (2nd)
- Survivor: Heroes vs Villains (9th)
Amanda is one of the best players to never win the game. She got so close on China and Micronesia but couldn’t get across the finish line. I would love to see her play the game considering the last time she played was in 2010.
Michaela Bradshaw
Seasons:
- Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X (14th)
- Survivor: Game Changers (7th)
Michaela is one of the newer players to make this cast but she definetely has some memorable moments. I’d love to see her play with all these legends. She would not be scared at all. We most recently saw Michaela on The Challenge: USA 2 where she got 3rd place.
Shan Smith
Original Season:
- Survivor 41 (8th)
Shan is one of my favorite players from the 40’s. She had a real chance to win Survivor 41 but her, Ricard Foye, and Danny McCray were too big of threats. Erika Casupanan ended up winning and it’s well deserved but Shan deserves another chance to play.
Kelly Wentworth
Seasons:
- Survivor: San Juan Del Sur (14th)
- Survivor: Cambodia (4th)
- Survivor: Edge of Extinction (10th)
Wentworth was so close to winning Survivor: Cambodia. It was between her and Jeremy Collins and Jeremy got the win. On Edge of Extinction she was one of the biggest threats. I’d love to see her on a season with all threats cause she could probably get pretty far.
Courtney Yates
Original Seasons:
- Survivor: China (2nd)
- Survivor: Heroes vs Villains (11th)
Courtney was a fan favorite on China and Heroes vs Villains. She played a great game on China but Todd Herzog played one of the best winning games of all-time. I’d be so excited to see her play again for the first time since Heroes vs Villains.
Abi-Maria Gomes
Original Seasons:
- Survivor: Phillippines (5th)
- Survivor: Cambodia (7th)
Abi Maria is a villain but she plays Survivor. She has gotten 5th place and 7th place. Honestly, on this season I’d expect her to be targeted pretty quickly. She does have a connection with Wentworth though so that might be helpful.
Ozzy Lusth
Original Seasons:
- Survivor: Cook Islands (2nd)
- Survivor: Micronesia (9th)
- Survivor: South Pacific (4th)
- Survivor: Game Changers (12th)
Ozzy is one of the most iconic players in the history of Survivor. He got 2nd place on Cook Islands and would’ve won South Pacific if he won the final immunity challenge. It would be interesting to see him back with Parvati Shallow and Amanda Kimmel.
Domenick Abbate
Original Season:
- Survivor: Ghost Island (2nd)
Dom was 1 vote away from winning Survivor: Ghost Island. He had one of the best non-winning seasons of all-time. This is a season where I could see Dom getting to the end and winning. He’s not the biggest threat but he is one of the smartest players in the game.
Rick Devens
Original Season:
- Survivor: Edge of Extinction (4th)
THere are so many people that think Devens should won Edge of Extinction over Chris Underwood. I think Underwood played a great game and deserved to win but if Devens was in the final 3 he should have won. He deserves another chance to play the game.
James Clement
Original Seasons:
- Survivor: China (7th)
- Survivor: Micronesia (7th)
- Survivor: Heroes vs Villains (14th)
James was a fan favorite in the late 2000’s. He played the game 3 times from season 15 to season 20. People absolutely loved him. We haven’t seen him since and that is so sad. I am really hoping he makes a grand return. If The Challenge was casting CBS talent back then he would be a multi-time Challenge Champion.
Deshawn Radden
Original Seasons:
- Survivor 41 (2nd)
Deshawn played a great political and physical game on Survivor 41 but didn’t play a great social game and that is why he lost. I would love to see how he would play with all these legends. I feel like he was a big fish in a small pond last time but now it would be a big pond.
Russell Hantz
Original Seasons:
- Survivor: Samoa (2nd)
- Survivor: Heroes vs Villains (3rd)
- Survivor: Redemption Island (17th)
Most people hate Russell Hantz but you can’t deny the fact that he is a legend. He got to the end in back to back seasons in Survivor: Samoa and Survivor: Heroes vs Villains. I’d love to see him return.
