Meet Our Team: Lise Wessel, Chief Marketing Officer
What’s your role & what do you do at TVVIN?
I’m one of the co-founders and the CMO of TVVIN. Right from the start, my role has been to shape the concept and structure of our market offering. I’ve overseen the development of materials, brand identity, and communication strategies. Currently, I’m involved in various aspects of the project, with a primary focus on Marketing & Communication. This involves not only the present stage but also strategising for the operational phase.
What did you do before TVVIN and/or what else are you involved in besides TVVIN?
My journey in the blockchain space began in 2021, where I led brand, marketing, and communication efforts for two other projects. Prior to this, I established and oversaw the operations of two Nordic Marketing companies. These entities boasted a workforce of several hundred remote, part-time employees dedicated to executing experiential marketing assignments for our esteemed top-tier brand clients. These undertakings enriched me with extensive marketing acumen, as well as invaluable proficiencies in team construction and remote collaboration — qualities that stand as linchpins for our ambitions at TVVIN. I am 100% focused and work only with TVVIN, so although I retain ownership in my previous business I am no longer operational there.
So you’re working with blockchain now, but what did you want to be when you were younger?
In my early days, I aspired to be a Private Detective. Later, the allure of daring archaeology fuelled by Indiana Jones films and my fascination with history and past cultures drove me to dream of being a daredevil archaeologist.
What are your hobbies and/or passions outside of web3 & Blockchain?
My childhood passions still hold sway. I’m deeply intrigued by ancient cultures, religions, and how they intersect with modern sciences. Books I pick up often delve into these topics, fueled by a quest to comprehend our universe, existence, and the path to a better world. I also intermittently practise yoga for personal well-being. Travelling with my family to immerse myself in diverse cultures, foods, and environments is a true joy.
Finally, why are you a believer in TVVIN?
My conviction in TVVIN stems from a belief that our world needs an upgraded system. Current financial frameworks belong to a bygone era, failing to address the needs of our evolving global society. A society that demands fairness, sustainability, and reduced economic disparities. Real World Asset tokenisation is a progressive step, bridging asset value and digitisation. At TVVIN, we envision the synergy of technology and humanity fostering positive change. This prospect fuels my unwavering faith in TVVIN’s potential to create a better, more equitable world.
